Accessibility Statement

D.D. Initiatives places great importance on making the Website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, and works to do so in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the regulations thereunder. Last updated: June 2026.

1. Commitment to accessibility

We believe everyone deserves equal and respectful access to information and service. We have invested effort in adapting the Website to accepted accessibility standards, and we continue to improve accessibility on an ongoing basis.

2. Standard and conformance level

The Website was made accessible in accordance with the Israeli standard IS 5568 for web content accessibility, which is based on the WCAG guidelines. The Website meets accessibility level AA, and WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines were applied, beyond the statutory baseline of WCAG 2.0 level AA.

3. What was made accessible

Among the adaptations applied to the Website:

  • Full keyboard navigation and a clear focus indicator with sufficient contrast.
  • Semantic structure, ordered headings, form labels and accessible error messages.
  • Color contrast meeting level AA requirements and alternative text for images.
  • Support for Hebrew (RTL) and English (LTR) directionality, adapted per language.
  • A "skip to content" link, screen-reader compatibility, and respect for the reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion).

4. Accessibility toolbar

The Website includes a floating accessibility toolbar that allows personalization, including: increasing and decreasing text size, high contrast, grayscale, link highlighting, pausing animations, a readable font, an enlarged cursor, and line and letter spacing. Preferences are saved in the user’s browser.

5. Known limitations and alternatives

Some components may not be fully accessible, including embedded third-party content (such as YouTube videos) and some project images. We work on continuous remediation. If you encounter a component that is not accessible, please contact us, and we will provide the information or service through an alternative channel, including phone, email or WhatsApp.
